Silver Spring, MD – Ecoverde Cleaning, a proud partner of the non-profit organization Cleaning for a Reason, is set to host its 3rd Annual Cleaning for Cancer this October in honor of Cancer Awareness Month.
The event highlights the company’s commitment to supporting cancer patients by providing free home cleaning services to alleviate the burden on families during treatment.

Ecoverde Cleaning joined Cleaning for a Reason in 2022 and has since provided free cleaning for 41 cancer patients, donating over $14,000 in services. During Cancer Awareness Month this year, Ecoverde aims to reach even more families in need.
What is Cleaning for a Reason?
Cleaning for a Reason is a nationwide non-profit that connects cancer patients with local residential cleaning companies willing to donate their services. Since its inception in 2006, Cleaning for a Reason and its partners have provided free home cleaning to over 43,000 cancer patients across all 50 states and Canada, valued at more than $14.1 million in donated service.
3rd Annual Cleaning for Cancer Month
Ecoverde Cleaning’s special Cleaning for Cancer Week will take place throughout October. During this month, the company will serve as many cancer patients as possible, raising both awareness and funds to support Cleaning for a Reason.
“Our mission at Ecoverde Cleaning is to ‘Make Lives Better, In All That We Do,'” added Rodriguez. “We want to help take away some of the stress from people facing health challenges. Time is precious, and it should be spent with family, not cleaning.”
How to Get Involved
Cancer patients undergoing treatment are eligible to receive up to two free cleaning visits through Cleaning for a Reason. Family members or friends can also refer loved ones for this service. Ecoverde Cleaning encourages the community to support the cause by donating to Cleaning for a Reason, ensuring that more cancer patients can receive help during their time of need.
